Song Reportin'

Th' song reportin' settin's screen be changin' th' behavior o' th' Song Reportin' Screen. It also affects how songs be tracked in th' app fer reportin' purposes, savvy?

Reportin' Method

Songs can be tracked in two different ways, matey:

  • By Set uses th' date and time specified fer a set t' determine if a song was played on that day. Fer instance, if ye create a set fer June 15, 2015, and add songs, those songs will be reported as bein' used on that date. 'Tis important t' archive yer sets instead o' deletin' them t' allow this usage information t' remain intact. This works best fer users that always create a set before th' performance. Default.
  • By Usage be more sophisticated in that it tracks th' usage o' songs based on how long they have appeared on th' screen. This can more accurately keep track o' what songs were used whether sets be used or not.

Usage Report Trackin'

When trackin' by usage, OnSong adds a delay t' not track songs that were only bein' previewed. Ye can change this delay in trackin' t':

  • Immediately tracks th' song as soon as 'tis viewed.
  • After 1-minute tracks th' song after it has been viewed fer one minute. Default.
  • After 2-5 minutes tracks th' song after it has been viewed fer a longer period.

Collate Reports

This settin' changes th' timeframes used fer aggregation in th' reportin' screen. Options include:

  • Daily tracks songs day by day.
  • Weekly tracks songs used each week. Default.
  • Monthly tracks songs used each month.
  • Quarterly tracks songs used each quarter o' th' year.
  • Yearly tracks songs used each year.

Sort Order

This settin' changes th' order in which timeframes appear. Th' default option be in descendin' chronological order.

*Note: OnSong does report th' usage o' yer songs t' services like CCLI. Ye will need t' enable Auto-Reportin'.**
